Like a nightmare that haunted the past
A sanguineous legion would leave all aghast
Never was it foreseen, ever before
A behemoth misfortune of the Lore.
They came, they saw, they destroyed
Every quoin there was, every side
Blackened countenances swept away
The peace that prevailed every day
We struck them too with all might galore
Bleeding, groping, lives were laid by scores
Twilight whispered of a dawn of the Morrow
Perdition, may they meet, for all this sorrow
A prayer grew
A day anew
The dawn of hope is now bathed
With a light exalting life unscathed
Rise..breathe.. from the ashes we seek
Conviction, a strength, to never again reek
Of turpitude among us- of one kind
Beyond the horizon… a world we find…
